Stray Kids received a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America for their single "Maniac." This marks the band's fourth gold certification in the United States, following previous accolades for the single "God’s Menu" and the albums "Five-Star" and "Rock-Star."
"Maniac" was the lead track from the group's sixth EP, "Oddinary," released in March 2022. The EP debuted impressively on the Billboard 200 chart, a notable achievement for the eight-member ensemble.
In addition to their recent certification, Stray Kids generated anticipation for their upcoming single "Lose My Breath," a collaboration with Charlie Puth. A snippet of the song was revealed on Tuesday, heightening expectations for its release scheduled for May 10.
The band recently concluded their first in-person fan event in Japan, which drew a substantial crowd of 160,000 fans over four days. The event featured two shows each in Osaka and Saitama, showcasing Stray Kids' growing international popularity.
