Min Hee-jin has accused Bang Si-hyuk, the producer behind BTS and founder of Hybe, of mistreating NewJeans and hindering their promotional activities.
Hybe has refuted these claims, stating that each label under its multi-label system independently decides the release dates of their K-pop groups' albums. Despite concerns raised by fans, Hybe maintains that it was not possible to change the comeback dates for RM and NewJeans.

K-pop fans have expressed concern regarding Hybe's promotional activities for BTS member RM and girl group NewJeans, both scheduled to make comebacks with new albums in May. The releases coincide with an ongoing conflict between Hybe and Min Hee-jin, the CEO of Ador sublabel under Hybe.
NewJeans, a girl group under the Ador sublabel, will release double singles titled “How Sweet” and “Bubble Gum” on May 24. Meanwhile, RM is set to drop his second solo album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,” on the same day.
Hybe has refuted these claims, stating that each label under its multi-label system independently decides the release dates of their K-pop groups' albums. Despite concerns raised by fans, Hybe maintains that it was not possible to change the comeback dates for RM and NewJeans.
