JYP Entertainment revealed that Stray Kids' 2022 hit song "Maniac" has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This marks the fourth gold certification for Stray Kids, following previous certifications for the album "5-Star" (2023), EP "Rock-Star" (2023), and single "God’s Menu" (2020).
The RIAA awards gold certifications for digital singles or albums that sell over 500,000 units.
"Maniac" is featured on the EP "Oddinary" (2022), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart just 10 days after its release. Stray Kids has achieved three other chart-topping albums: "Maxident" (2022), "5-Star," and "Rock-Star."
Stray Kids is slated to headline overseas music festivals including Milan's I-Days, London's British Summer Time Hyde Park in July, and Chicago's Lollapalooza Chicago in August. Tickets for Stray Kids' appearance day at Lollapalooza Chicago are currently sold out, according to JYP Entertainment.
