The Korean Cultural Center in Belgium and the EU will present 'Korea Unboxed: Scoop the Trend,' a comprehensive festival showcasing Korea's latest lifestyle, food, and beauty trends in the heart of Brussels. The two-day event, scheduled for October 18-19, 2025, from 12 PM to 8 PM, will take place at both the Korean Cultural Center in Sablon and Place de la Chapelle in Brussels.
The festival is being organized in collaboration with several Korean institutions, including the Korea Tourism Organization, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Korea Rice Processing Association. This partnership demonstrates the comprehensive nature of the event, which aims to provide visitors with an authentic and diverse Korean cultural experience.
At the Cultural Center in Sablon, visitors will have the opportunity to explore inspiring tourism content and discover the newest K-beauty trends and products. The tourism section will feature Korea's 100 must-visit attractions and highlight the famous Jeju Olle Trail, offering attendees a virtual day of travel through Korea. These displays are designed to showcase the country's diverse landscapes and cultural heritage sites.
The K-Beauty Zone will offer interactive programs designed to engage visitors with Korea's booming beauty industry. Attendees can participate in personal color analysis sessions to find their perfect MLBB (My Lips But Better) lipstick shade, watch live makeup tutorials, and attend skincare routine classes. These programs will be led by professional K-beauty artists who will provide expert guidance on Korean beauty techniques and products.
At Place de la Chapelle, the K-Food Zone will focus specifically on showcasing the endless possibilities of Korean rice-based foods. The organizers emphasize that rice has always been at the heart of the Korean table, serving as the foundation for countless traditional and modern dishes. Visitors will discover rice in all its creative transformations, from warm bowls of traditional rice to spicy tteokbokki (rice cakes), refreshing makgeolli (rice wine), and various crispy rice snacks.
The festival promises to deliver fresh, trendy, and authentically Korean moments for all attendees. By combining tourism promotion, beauty experiences, and culinary exploration, 'Korea Unboxed: Scoop the Trend' aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to contemporary Korean culture and lifestyle trends that have gained international popularity in recent years.
