Multi-talented artist Stéphanie Fleury is showcasing approximately fifty of her photographs and decorated vinyl records throughout the month of August 2025 at Le Vent des livres bookstore in Tourlaville, Manche. The exhibition represents the bookstore's monthly tradition of featuring local artists and their creative works.

Fleury is described as a creator with multiple talents who dedicates herself with overflowing energy and infectious good humor to various art forms including poetry, photography, and decorative art created from her photographs, such as vinyl records adorned with beautiful flowers. "My ideal is to make culture accessible to everyone," Fleury explained about her artistic mission.

A distinctive characteristic that unites all of Fleury's different creations is the omnipresence of vivid, warm, and striking colors. "My favorite subjects are objects, antiques, musical instruments, and especially nature - if you look very closely at it, there's always something magnificent to capture," she shared. This philosophy explains her extensive use of macro photography, a technique that reveals and magnifies the smallest details, particularly of flora and fauna.

Diagnosed with fibromyalgia, Fleury has transformed her art practice of thirty years into a genuine form of therapy. She even obtained a photographer's diploma through her personal training account. "This artistic practice has given new meaning to my life," she reflected. "I've learned to take time to observe, to imagine, to enjoy the present moment. I can get fresh air while looking at all the beauty of nature, this world that we don't look at often enough."

Beyond her creative work, Fleury has been involved since 2024 with the association Copains du Monde, which brings together child volunteers from Secours Populaire. The group holds two meetings per month in Valognes where members "share about solidarity and the environment."

Le Vent des livres will offer additional programming alongside the exhibition, including a Knitting Tea workshop on August 28th, a Philosophy Café on September 12th, and will resume writing workshops starting at the end of September. The bookstore, located at 120 rue Général-Leclerc, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 6:30 PM with free admission to the exhibition.
