Sunmi, represented by Abyss Company, is set to unveil a self-written single in June, as confirmed by the agency on Friday.
The artist recently completed filming a music video in Croatia, as stated by Abyss Company.
Sunmi shared several images on her social media platform last month with the caption "Rainy Croatia."
This forthcoming single marks Sunmi's return after approximately eight months since the release of her eighth digital single, "Stranger."
The artist initially debuted as a solo act in 2013, following a hiatus of about 3 1/2 years from her tenure as a member of the group Wonder Girls.
She rejoined the group in 2015 for the release of their third studio album, "Reboot," before the group disbanded in 2017. As a soloist, Sunmi has accumulated a discography comprising three EPs, a single album, and eight digital singles.
