Park Bo-young, an actress represented by BH Entertainment, donated 50 million won ($37,000) to the nonprofit organization GFoundation. The donation aims to provide underwear for children and adolescents in Korea, along with supporting cultural activities for children in child care facilities. This follows her earlier donation of 20 million won to the Seoul Metropolitan Children’s Hospital earlier this year.
Similarly, actress Kim Go-eun, also under BH Entertainment, contributed 50 million won to the Seoul Metropolitan Children’s Hospital. Kim has been a consistent donor to the hospital since 2021, with the funds being used to assist children facing financial difficulties in treating chronic or severe diseases.
In addition to these contributions, several other public figures have made donations in honor of Children's Day. Comedian Park Na-rae reportedly donated 10 million won to Sinchon Severance Children's Hospital, while baseball player Lee Jung-hoo donated the same amount to Shinaewon, a child care center in Gwangju, South Jeolla. Singer Lim Young-woong donated 2 million won to children with leukemia.
Actors Han Ji-min and Chun Woo-hee raised funds to aid malnourished children, while actor Kim Sun-ho’s fan club donated approximately 4 million won to children with cancer.
