The Poing Gallery is presenting its annual art exhibition at the City Center shopping mall, featuring diverse paintings and photographs from regional artists through October 25th. This traditional showcase displays works from ten local artists and photographers from Poing and the surrounding area on display panels throughout the mall's corridors.

The exhibition has become an established annual tradition for the Poing Gallery group, with the setup taking place on Saturday morning. Visitors can view the artworks during regular mall hours from Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 8 PM, until Saturday, October 25th.

"The exhibition space right in the middle of the shopping center offers a wonderful opportunity to present paintings and photographs casually to a larger audience, and perhaps surprise those who are less interested in art with one picture or photo or another," said Georg Stahl, director of the Poing Gallery.

The participating artists demonstrate a wide range of motifs, techniques, and themes in their displayed works. Elke Binz, Petra Hartmann, and Mareen Förster showcase portrait and landscape representations as well as pop art motifs. Meanwhile, Ulla Schulz, Tamara Suchan, Carolina Phillips, and Natalia Sirin present still life compositions and emotional fantasy worlds.

Georg Stahl takes a different artistic direction with his watercolors featuring local Poing motifs from his series "Poing Impressions," which he complements with maritime themes. The colorful spectrum is rounded out by Michael Braun's vibrant landscape and nature photographs, along with Roland Merkel's black-and-white photographic still lifes.

The artworks displayed on the exhibition panels are enhanced by information boards that include brief portraits of each artist and concise descriptions of their works. This additional feature allows viewers to gain insight into the creators behind the displayed pieces, providing context and background for the artistic works on display.
