The KingDom, formerly known as Kingdom, has released a new EP titled "Realize" and announced a change in their group name during a press conference in Seoul.
The seven-member group, representing seven different kingdoms in a fictional universe, has released seven EPs since their debut in 2021, each unveiling the story of one of the seven kingdoms.
In their latest EP, "Realize," The KingDom presents the second chapter of their fictional universe, where all members land on Earth and forget about their past experiences in the kingdoms they belong to, except for one member.
The EP features six songs, with the track "Flip that Coin" serving as the lead single. Described as a hybrid pop number with elements of house, hip hop, and R&B music, the song carries a message of resilience and determination.
With this comeback, The KingDom members will no longer wear heavily conceptual costumes on stage, opting for ordinary clothes like other K-pop idols.
The group also announced plans for a world tour in the second half of the year, with the first show scheduled in Amsterdam in August, followed by performances in major cities across Europe, the US, Japan, and Thailand.
