The girl group Nature has officially disbanded, as confirmed by their agency, n.CH Entertainment, in a post uploaded to the band's website on Saturday.
The agency expressed regret in sharing the news, citing the decision to end the group's activities after discussions with the members.
n.CH Entertainment announced the termination of contracts with all members, except for Sohee, who will continue her career as a solo artist under the company.
The dissolution of the group follows the emergence of rumors surrounding member Haru's alleged employment at a Japanese hostess bar. The speculation arose after a video was circulated on social media featuring a woman resembling Haru, introduced as a former K-pop idol, with her birthday matching Haru's. In response, Haru posted a message on social media expressing gratitude for support and asking for patience.
Nature, which debuted in 2018, faced challenges in establishing a foothold in the competitive K-pop girl group industry. The group's last album was released in November 2022, and they have not released new music since then.
