The 2025 edition of the "Royan Architecture[s]" photography contest has proven to be highly successful, drawing 126 participants who embraced the theme of color in their architectural photography submissions. The competition, organized by the City of Royan, challenged photographers to capture architectural elements where color played either a unique or dominant role in their compositions.

The contest attracted a diverse range of participants, including amateur photographers, professional photographers, and emerging talents who are still developing their skills. A special category was established specifically for young photographers under 18 years of age, encouraging the next generation of photography enthusiasts to participate in documenting Royan's architectural landscape.
