A Ukrainian architecture firm has completed a distinctive office project for Banda Agency, a company known for its progressive culture and bold advertising campaigns. The project, designed by ater.architects, represents more than just a workplace - it serves as a physical manifesto of the agency's core values.
The 300-square-meter office space, completed in 2025 in Kyiv, Ukraine, reflects principles of openness, sincerity, craftsmanship, and respect for history. The design team at ater.architects balanced refined taste with intentional imperfections and elements of self-irony, creating a unique work environment.
According to Yulia Tkachenko, architect and co-founder of ater.architects, the clients specifically requested a cozy space that would feel more like a bright, spacious apartment than a traditional office. This approach aligns with Banda's desire for an environment that supports creative idea generation.
The project incorporates various materials including wood and brick, with products from manufacturers such as HAY, Ikea, Irsap, Kint, Luceplan, Magis, Nemo Lighting, and Tiini. The design successfully creates a workspace that embodies the agency's progressive values while providing a comfortable environment for creative professionals.
Photography of the completed project was handled by Yevhenii Avramenko, documenting how the space serves as both a functional workplace and an expression of contemporary Ukrainian design philosophy.
