Singer Soojin, a former member of girl group (G)I-DLE, will release a new song this August, her agency BRD Entertainment announced on Thursday.
“Soojin is preparing for a comeback this summer,” the agency said in a press release. “Her music will reflect her identity and no one else's.”
Soojin debuted with (G)I-DLE in 2018, but left the group in 2021 after facing allegations of school bullying. Her exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment ended in 2022.
She launched her solo career in November 2023 with her first EP, "Agassy", and went on an Asia tour.
Her upcoming release will be her first new music in over a year, following her second EP, "Rizz", released in 2024.
BRD Entertainment also confirmed that Soojin will go on a North American tour soon.
