The tragic Jeju Air flight 7C2216 accident has left South Korea in shock, with prominent figures in the entertainment industry expressing their condolences to the victims and their families. The devastating crash, which occurred at 9 AM on November 28 at Muan International Airport, claimed the lives of 179 of the 181 people on board, making it the deadliest aviation accident in South Korean history.

Actor Jung Il Woo posted a somber message against a black background, stating, "I express my deepest condolences," and added in English, "Pray for you," demonstrating solidarity in multiple languages.

The crash occurred as the aircraft attempted a belly landing, colliding with airport infrastructure before erupting into flames. All passengers onboard were killed, except for two crew members who sustained critical injuries. The accident represents an unparalleled loss of life in the history of South Korean aviation.
Authorities have recovered all the victims' remains and are now working on the identification process using DNA matching with the families. However, officials have noted that this meticulous process will require significant time. The nation, united in grief, continues to mourn the catastrophic loss, with calls for thorough investigations and improved safety measures in the aviation industry.
