IU’s iconic 2024 world tour finale, IU Concert: The Winning, is set to captivate fans once again, this time on the big screen. Starting next month, audiences will be able to relive the emotional moments from her historic 100th concert, originally held on September 21–22, through a concert film that brings the experience to life with stunning visuals and immersive sound.
The Winning marks IU’s second concert film and chronicles the final chapter of her world tour, which spanned six months from March 2024. The film not only celebrates the milestone of her 100th live performance but also serves as a testament to her enduring legacy as one of Korea’s most celebrated solo artists.
IU has continually broken barriers throughout her career. In 2019, she became the first female solo artist to perform at KSPO Dome, and in 2022, she achieved another groundbreaking feat as the first solo performer to headline the Olympic Main Stadium. This year, she filled Seoul World Cup Stadium with fans, further solidifying her status as an unparalleled figure in the Korean music scene.
The film promises to deliver a comprehensive and unforgettable experience for fans. Featuring a lineup of IU’s greatest hits, it also includes highlights like the breathtaking drone show that illuminated the skies above Sangam during her concert. Tracks such as Holsseed (the title song from The Winning, released in February 2024) and Love Wins All, which encapsulates the theme of the concert, are part of the setlist.
By utilizing CGV’s large, high-definition screens and state-of-the-art sound systems, IU Concert: The Winning aims to replicate the atmosphere of a live concert, offering fans a chance to relive or experience for the first time the emotional highs and vibrant energy of her performances.
This film offers an unparalleled opportunity for fans who could not attend the live events to connect with IU’s artistry and relive the moments that have made her a defining artist of her generation. It also serves as a perfect culmination of her world tour, capturing not just the music but the essence of her connection with the audience.
IU Concert: The Winning will be available exclusively at CGV theaters nationwide next month. With its blend of high-quality production and IU’s unmatched talent, the film is poised to be a must-watch for fans and music enthusiasts alike.
