JYP Entertainment declared on Tuesday that Nmixx, the girl group, is scheduled to launch their second EP, titled "Fe3O4: Break," on January 15. This marks the group's return after an eight-month hiatus since their debut EP, "expérgo," released on March 20.
Ahead of the album release, the group plans to unveil a pre-release digital single titled "Soñar (Breaker)" on Monday. According to JYP Entertainment, "Fe3O4" is a reference to the chemical symbol of a magnetic material, while "Soñar" translates to dreaming.
While specific details about the single or album are not provided, a motion poster was released on Tuesday, featuring a magnetic cube manipulating objects before breaking apart, revealing the EP's title and the release dates for the digital single and EP.
The group is recognized for their tracks "Dice" (2022) and "Love Me Like This." Following their debut EP, Nmixx released their third single, "A Midsummer NMIXX's Dream," in July. Notably, they engaged with fans through their inaugural mini-concert on October 7 and October 8.
