Lim Sejun, a member of the K-pop group Victon, has officially completed his mandatory military service, his agency IST Entertainment announced on Thursday. Lim served as a full-time member of the army marching band and expressed his gratitude to fans through the agency, thanking them for their patience and unwavering support during his enlistment.

Lim debuted in 2016 as the sub-vocalist of Victon with the group’s first EP, Voice To New World. Over the years, he expanded his career into musical theater, taking on prominent roles in various productions. Before his enlistment in June 2023, he had already established himself as a versatile performer beyond his contributions to the group. Lim is the third member of Victon to complete military service, following Han Seungwoo and Kang Seungsik.

The spotlight now turns to Lim’s upcoming role in the musical Unknown Heroes, which is set to premiere next month. His return to the stage marks a significant milestone in his career, reflecting his dedication to both music and acting.

However, the future of Victon remains uncertain. The group has faced significant challenges in recent years. Heo Chan departed in 2022 after a DUI incident, leaving the band as a six-member act. Earlier this year, three members exited IST Entertainment in April when their contracts expired, and Han Seungwoo also parted ways with the company last month after completing his contract.

Despite these changes, fans continue to hope for a revival or reconfiguration of Victon, a group that has been cherished for its unique sound and strong bond with its fanbase, ALICE. The group's dynamic history and the individual successes of its members underscore its legacy in the K-pop industry, even as uncertainties linger.

As Lim Sejun transitions back into the spotlight, his contributions to both musical theater and potential future projects within the industry are highly anticipated. Whether as part of a group or as a solo artist, his talent and charisma are expected to leave a lasting impact.
