Lisa of BLACKPINK is making a powerful return as a solo artist with her first full-length album, ALTER EGO. Sony Music Entertainment Korea announced on December 24 that pre-orders for the album began on December 23, fueling excitement among fans worldwide.

The album features an expansive range of formats and concepts, including five distinct photobook versions, one jewel case edition, and 12 vinyl record variations. This diversity highlights Lisa's intention to offer a multifaceted and deeply personal project to her global audience. A representative from Sony Music emphasized, “As her first full-length album, this showcases a matured musical spectrum that reinforces Lisa’s position as a global artist.”

Lisa’s venture into solo artistry has been marked by bold moves, including founding her label, Loud Company, and partnering with RCA Records under Sony Music. Over the past year, she released three singles—ROCKSTAR, NEW WOMAN, and Moonlit Floor—each presenting a fresh facet of her artistry.

ROCKSTAR was a standout hit, topping the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and reaching No. 4 on the Global 200 Weekly Chart. NEW WOMAN received international acclaim, earning the titles of Best Collaboration and Biggest Fans at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2024. Meanwhile, Moonlit Floor also performed well, securing a spot in the upper ranks of multiple global charts.

Lisa’s influence extends beyond music. She recently graced the stages of the Global Citizen Festival and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, further cementing her status as a cultural icon. In addition, she is set to appear in HBO’s critically acclaimed series The White Lotus Season 3, showcasing her versatility as an entertainer.
