Digital single arrives four years after the group’s debut, featuring punchnello and lyrics by Hanbin

Hanbin of TEMPEST has launched his solo career with his first digital single, “No Fear.”

The single was released through digital music platforms at 6 p.m. on August 24. It marks Hanbin’s first solo project approximately four years after TEMPEST debuted in March 2022, making him the first member of the group to issue a solo release.

“No Fear” contains two tracks: the title song “No Fear (Feat. punchnello)” and the B-side “Air.” Hanbin participated in writing the lyrics for both songs.

The title track is a dance-pop song about trusting one’s potential and moving forward despite fear. Rapper punchnello contributed to the lyrics and appears as a featured artist.

“Air” is an EDM track built around an accessible melody and dynamic progression. Its lyrics encourage listeners to step away from everyday routines and focus on enjoying the present moment.

The project also introduces the phrase “HEU’NG HANBIN,” combining the Korean concept of “heung,” referring to spirited enjoyment, with Hanbin’s birth name, Ngô Ngọc Hưng. The Vietnamese singer uses the term to establish an identity for his work outside the group.
