Actor Byun Yo Han and Apink’s Jung Eun Ji have been named goodwill ambassadors for the Love’s Sharing Campaign by the Community Chest of Korea. On November 28, the organization announced their appointment, signaling a new chapter in their philanthropic efforts. The official ceremony to mark their ambassadorship will take place at a later date.
The campaign unveiled promotional advertisements and posters featuring the two stars under the theme "Make Yourself Shine, Make the World Shine." Byun and Jung encourage active participation in charitable giving through these visuals.
The advertisements are set to roll out across multiple platforms starting December 1, including TV, major subway stations in Seoul, bus stops throughout the city, and high-traffic transportation hubs like KTX and SRT stations nationwide.
The funds raised through this campaign will be directed toward supporting vulnerable groups such as children, adolescents, the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and families in crisis. Contributions will aid initiatives in basic living assistance, education and self-reliance programs, social care, housing improvements, and healthcare services.
Byun Yo Han, celebrated for his versatile acting, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming melodrama film Pavane, where he portrays the free-spirited character Yohan. Additionally, he is reportedly reviewing an offer to star in Tazza 4.
Jung Eun Ji, meanwhile, is set to reconnect with fans at Apink’s seventh solo concert, Pink Christmas, scheduled for December 21–22 at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Known for her warm charisma and vocal prowess, Jung promises a festive celebration of the holiday season with fans.
The partnership between these two prominent figures and the Love’s Sharing Campaign underscores the potential of celebrities to drive meaningful social change. Their involvement aims to inspire broader participation in charitable activities and raise awareness about the campaign’s mission to uplift underserved communities.
With their extensive influence and genuine commitment to philanthropy, Byun Yo Han and Jung Eun Ji are expected to make significant contributions to the campaign’s goals. As their respective professional endeavors align with their charitable efforts, the collaboration highlights the synergy between art and advocacy in creating a brighter, more inclusive society.
