“Boy With Luv” gives the group the most million-point titles among overseas artists

BTS has recorded its fourth release with more than 1 million cumulative points on Oricon’s Combined Singles Ranking.

According to Oricon on Sept. 28, “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)” surpassed the mark on the latest weekly chart. The ranking combines performance across streaming and digital downloads.

The group previously reached 1 million points with “Lights / Boy With Luv,” “Dynamite” and “Butter (Permission to Dance).” BTS now holds the largest number of million-point releases among overseas artists on the chart.

“Boy With Luv” was released in April 2019 as the title track of the EP “MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA.” The song is also approaching 300 million cumulative streams on Oricon’s weekly streaming chart.

BTS has meanwhile been nominated for Most Popular International Artist at the 2026 ARIA Awards. Other nominees include Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and Olivia Rodrigo. The ceremony will take place at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Nov. 18.
