Professional photo printing service WhiteWall has introduced an expanded line of sample kits designed to address a common challenge faced by photographers: selecting the ideal materials for displaying their work. The new offerings include physical samples of frames, mats, and glass options, allowing customers to make informed decisions before placing orders.
While WhiteWall has previously provided sample kits for its extensive paper selections, this week marks the debut of additional sample categories. Photographers can now request physical samples of frame styles, passe-partout (mat) options, and various glass types to examine in person before making final choices for their prints.
The expansion addresses fundamental questions that photographers regularly encounter when preparing to display their work. According to the company, artists frequently struggle with decisions about which frame will complement their photographs, what mat color will enhance specific images, and which type of glass will work best in their intended display environment with existing lighting conditions.
"Our products stand for the highest quality – so it's all the more important that our customers feel completely confident before they buy," explains Alexander Nieswandt, founder and CEO of WhiteWall. "That's why we want to make the decision as easy as possible. With the new samples, our quality can be experienced first-hand – and we enable our customers to make the best choice for their motif with complete confidence."
The comprehensive sample collection includes 40 different variants across WhiteWall's six most popular frame lines. These include the Hamburg, Basel, ArtBox, and Slimline frame series, available in multiple colors and thickness options. For matting options, the company offers ten passe-partout samples featuring various shades of white and gray, including specialized linen variants.
Glass selection samples encompass four distinct options, ranging from standard acrylic to premium choices like float glass and non-reflective museum glass. Each type serves different display needs and lighting conditions, making physical comparison essential for optimal results.
Customers can purchase individual samples or create customized sample kits based on their specific needs. Pricing ranges from $4.95 to $7.95 per sample, making it accessible for photographers to test multiple options. The new framing material samples can be combined with test prints on different WhiteWall paper types, enabling customers to evaluate complete combinations before committing to final orders.
To encourage sampling, WhiteWall automatically provides vouchers equal to the sample purchase amount after items ship. These vouchers can be applied to future orders and remain valid for three months, effectively making the sampling process risk-free for customers who proceed with orders.
According to WhiteWall, this expansion reinforces the company's position as a premium provider offering highly customizable options. The range expansion aims to provide customers with a solid foundation for decision-making, helping them achieve optimal results while planning their projects with greater certainty and confidence.
