Samsung C&T’s resort division has announced the opening of Snow Buster, a thrilling snow sledding attraction, at Everland. Set to kick off on December 20 with the Family Course, the Snow Buster will expand to include the Racing Course by December 27 and operate all three courses, including the Express Course, through early January.
As part of the Wintertopia Festival, featuring the beloved Moomin characters, Everland offers an array of winter activities. Guests can enjoy sledding, photo zones, warm winter treats, and festive performances, creating a magical winter experience for families, friends, and couples.
The Snow Buster features three courses tailored to different levels of excitement. Families with young children will enjoy the Family Course, while adrenaline seekers can opt for the steep and fast-paced Racing Course. The most thrilling is the 200-meter-long Express Course, which allows up to four riders to share a massive circular snow tube, making it perfect for groups.
For added convenience and safety, all courses are equipped with automatic launch systems, tube conveyors, and dedicated snow lanes reinforced with shock-absorbing air bounce barriers. Surrounding the Snow Buster, visitors can explore additional snow activities, including photo zones featuring Moomin characters and the Snow Activity Zone.
On December 20, Everland will unveil the Snow Yard, a spacious snow-covered playground where visitors can enjoy mini sledding, build snowmen and snow ducks, and engage in other fun winter activities. In early January, the Snow Track, a 50-meter round-trip trail for mini wooden sledding, will also open.
For those seeking warmth after outdoor fun, the indoor Finnish Boarding House pop-up zone is a must-visit. Inspired by the popular tvN show Finnish Boarding House, the exhibit recreates authentic Finnish rural life as experienced by actors Lee Je Hoon, Lee Dong Hwi, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Cha Eun Woo. Guests can immerse themselves in the Nordic atmosphere while staying cozy indoors.
Adjacent to the Snow Buster entrance, the Hot Food Village, adorned with Moomin-themed decor, offers a variety of winter treats. Guests can savor hot chocolate, fish cakes, roasted sweet potatoes, and more to refuel after snow activities.
The Wintertopia Festival continues to captivate visitors with its Nordic-inspired Nordic Forest Garden, where the winter forest ambiance of Northern Europe comes alive. The festival also features Christmas-themed performances, parades, and a spectacular multimedia fireworks show, making Everland a perfect destination to embrace the festive holiday spirit.
