Two tracks from the singer’s forthcoming sixth studio album will arrive ahead of the full record

Singer and actor IU will release a new digital single titled “이 별로부터” at 6 p.m. KST on Sept. 10.

The release contains two title tracks: “이 별로부터” and “Dear my crazy soulmate.” IU wrote the lyrics for both songs.

The tracks are scheduled to appear on IU’s forthcoming sixth studio album and are being released in advance of the full record. A release date for the album has not yet been announced.

Concept photographs released by EDAM Entertainment on Sept. 8 show IU wearing a spacesuit inside a spacecraft. An earlier track-list video introduced a similar setting through images of planets, an astronaut and a paper airplane.

The music video for “Dear my crazy soulmate” will be released alongside the single on Sept. 10. A video for “이 별로부터” is scheduled to follow on Sept. 16.

The single marks IU’s first new music since “Bye, Summer,” released in September 2025. Her sixth Her sixth studio album will be her first full-length record since “LILAC” in 2021.
