According to SayArt on July 23, K-pop group XLOV ranked No. 6 on Billboard's "The 25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2026 (So Far): Staff Picks" with its second mini album "I,God."
The list, released by Billboard on July 20 (U.S. time), selected "I,God" as one of the year's notable K-pop releases. Billboard described the album as a collection of groove-driven dance tracks and noted that its central message presents accepting imperfections as a form of confidence rather than pursuing flawlessness.
"I,God" is XLOV's second mini album. Member Umuti led the album's production, while members Hyun and Haru participated in writing lyrics for several tracks. The project reflects direct creative involvement from the group's members.
XLOV recently completed fan meetings in New York and Los Angeles. The group has since launched its "Serving-X" Asia tour, beginning with performances in Seoul.
The tour is scheduled to continue with concerts in Tokyo on July 26, followed by Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, and Osaka. Additional tour activities are expected to proceed according to the event schedule.
Billboard recognition and the group's overseas performances are expected to support the expansion of XLOV's international activities. The longer-term impact of the album and tour is expected to become clearer as promotions continue.
