Film-shot music video accompanies a hybrid hip-hop track co-written by Inhu, Sihwan and Taira

TUNEXX has released the second music video teaser for “BLUE MODE,” the title track of the group’s forthcoming second mini album.

The seven-member group posted the teaser through its official YouTube channel on Aug. 31. The album marks TUNEXX’s first comeback approximately six months after its March debut with “SET BY US ONLY.”

The full music video was shot on film. The teaser places the members in everyday settings, with much of the footage built around a dark blue color palette.

In its later section, the members perform individual dance sequences in separate locations. Portions of the track’s hip-hop production, vocals and rap are also included.

“BLUE MODE” is structured as a hybrid hip-hop track. Members Inhu, Sihwan and Taira participated in writing its lyrics.

The mini album contains four tracks: “BLUE MODE,” “SYNC UP,” “ANSWER” and “OVER X.” “ANSWER” expands on the outro theme from the group’s debut song, “I’m Alive.”

Zeon and Sihwan contributed lyrics to “ANSWER,” while Zeon and Donggyu co-wrote “OVER X.” HOWL, who worked on the group’s debut record, served as the album’s executive producer.

“BLUE MODE” and its title-track music video are scheduled for release at 6 p.m. KST on Sept. 2.
