KATSEYE’s ‘WILD’ Holds at No. 6 on Billboard 200

KATSEYE’s third EP, “WILD,” has remained in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 for a second consecutive week.
According to the chart dated Sept. 5, “WILD” ranked No. 6 following its debut at No. 1 the previous week.
The EP opened with 170,000 equivalent album units in the United States, becoming KATSEYE’s first No. 1 release on the Billboard 200. Traditional album sales accounted for 145,000 units. “WILD” placed No. 3 on this week’s Top Album Sales chart.
The group’s two previous EPs also appeared on the Billboard 200. “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS” ranked No. 135 in its 61st week on the chart, while the debut EP “SIS (Soft Is Strong)” placed No. 185. All three EPs released by KATSEYE were included on the same weekly ranking.
Two tracks from “WILD” remained on the Billboard Hot 100. Pre-release single “Animal” ranked No. 30 in its fifth consecutive week, while title track “Hootie Frutti” placed No. 49 in its second week. “Hootie Frutti” entered the chart at No. 31 the previous week.
“Animal” rose one position to No. 21 on the Pop Airplay chart, setting a new peak for the song. KATSEYE’s highest position on the chart remains the No. 9 peak previously reached by “Gabriela.”
KATSEYE began “THE WILDWORLD TOUR” in Dublin on Sept. 1. The group is scheduled to continue the tour across Europe and North America.
