K-pop group Winner has unveiled a special project to commemorate their 10th anniversary. The announcement was made by their label, YG Entertainment, on Wednesday, outlining various events and content planned for the milestone celebration.
As part of the project, Winner will release exclusive 10th-anniversary merchandise and host a pop-up cafe for a week following their anniversary on August 17. On the anniversary day itself, the members will greet fans via their YouTube channel, sharing a series of content including previously unseen videos and a playlist curated by the members.
Winner debuted in 2014 with the album ‘2014 S/S’ after being formed through a survival audition show. The album featured the hit tracks ‘Empty’ and ‘Coloring,’ with ‘Empty’ earning the group their first music show trophy just five days after their debut.
Originally a five-member group, Winner became a four-member group in 2016 following Nam Taehyun’s departure. Their most recent album, the fourth EP titled ‘Holiday,’ was released in 2022.
As Winner celebrates their 10th anniversary, the group is offering fans a unique opportunity to reflect on the past decade while building anticipation for their future activities.
