The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific Stage 1, the first regular season of the 2025 VCT Pacific League, will commence on March 22 in Seoul, marking the start of an intense competition among the region’s top teams.
Riot Games, the developer and publisher of VALORANT, announced on the 5th that Stage 1 of the VCT Pacific League will take place at the S-Plex Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Ticket sales for the event will open on March 7 via Interpark, with international fans able to purchase tickets through a dedicated global site, available in English and Japanese.
VCT Pacific is one of four international leagues within the global VALORANT esports ecosystem, alongside the Americas, EMEA, and CN leagues. These international leagues serve as a gateway to major global tournaments, including Masters and Champions. The top three teams from VCT Pacific Stage 1 will earn a coveted spot at Masters Toronto, scheduled to be held in June in Canada.
The VCT Pacific League has already proven its competitive strength on the international stage. In Masters Bangkok, held on March 2, Pacific League representative T1 claimed the championship title. Earlier, in Masters Shanghai, Gen.G emerged victorious, securing back-to-back international wins for the region.
Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the VCT Pacific League will both be held at the S-Plex Center, a familiar venue for VALORANT esports fans. This arena has been the home of VCT Pacific since the league’s inception in 2023 and recently hosted the Kickoff tournament. To enhance the experience, a dedicated fan space featuring interactive installations such as "Strategist Bear" and "Support Bot" will be set up on the 11th floor.
Stage 1 will run for approximately seven weeks, concluding on May 11. A total of 12 teams will compete for the championship title and three Masters qualification spots. Teams will be divided into two groups based on their Kickoff tournament results, competing in a single round-robin format. The top four teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will follow a double-elimination format. The three highest-ranked teams in the playoffs will qualify for Masters Toronto.
For fans unable to attend in person, the matches will be streamed online with Korean commentary via YouTube (VCT KR), SOOP (VALORANT Official), and Chzzzik (VALORANT Korea), ensuring widespread accessibility for viewers.
