The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art presents Conversations with the Sun, a VR screening by Thai film director Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
This screening has been selected as the November feature for Cosmic Elevator, a project exhibition for Multidisciplinary Art 2024.
The director has long explored themes of legends, folklore, memories of forests, and past-life stories in Thailand, capturing them with lyrical aesthetics.
This work marks the first time the director has incorporated VR technology, collaborating with Japanese creators.
An extraordinary experience awaits, featuring visual poetry that transcends language, waves of music by Ryuichi Sakamoto, and particles of light.
