2024 Museum Week across South Korea shines culture and history of Korean art

South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism hosts the '2024 Museum Week' program from May 2 to 31.
About 320 museums and art galleries participate in the event which will be held together by ICOM Korea and the National Museum Cultural Foundation.
The theme of Museum Week is 'Museums For Education and Research', which focuses on the natural functions and social values of museums and art galleries.
In particular, with concerns about the role of the institutions in the balanced development of local culture, also introduce travel programs that consider major cultural spaces in the region such as Local 100.
At the opening ceremony, actor Park Shin-yang, who is currently working as a painter, will be appointed as an ambassador.
