SEOUL – ARISOME, a subculture IP merchandising company and subsidiary of Anipen, has launched ANIPENZ, a new online store dedicated to premium subculture goods (www.anipenz.co.kr).

Anipen, led by CEO Jaewoong Jeon, Ph.D., has built its reputation on AI-based XR platforms and immersive content services. With ANIPENZ, the company is expanding into IP-driven merchandise, positioning the platform as a “fandom-oriented subculture playground” that goes beyond traditional character goods. The store will feature limited-edition collectibles, handmade art figures, and curated lifestyle products.

To mark the launch, ANIPENZ is collaborating with major domestic game IPs. Pre-orders include a handmade figure of “Saint Eustia” from Neowiz’s Brown Dust 2 (Aug. 29–Sept. 18) and apparel from Shift Up’s Goddess of Victory: Nikke (Aug. 29–Sept. 16). Upcoming tie-ins include a booth presence at Anime x Game Festival (AGF) 2025 in December.

The platform will also host products from a range of partners, including original art books, figures by 357 Apartment, Germany’s Playmobil (via IQ Box), U.K. art-toy label Playforever, and premium print brand More Than Chocolate.

ANIPENZ is also introducing AI-generated characters through music videos on its official YouTube channel (youtube.com/@애니펜즈), underscoring its integration of digital creativity and merchandise.

“ANIPENZ will open up new market possibilities by combining AI technology with subculture IP,” an ARISOME spokesperson said. “We aim to expand services that merge collectible goods with digital experiences for evolving fandoms.”

Building on its domestic debut, ARISOME said it plans to accelerate expansion into global subculture markets, including Japan and North America.
