K-pop awards ceremony D AWARDS will be held in Paris, France, in January 2027. The event will take place at the 40,000-capacity Plenitude Arena, marking the first time a K-pop awards ceremony has been held at the venue.
“D AWARDS 2027 in Paris” is scheduled for Jan. 15 and 16, 2027, at Plenitude Arena in Paris. The venue, formerly known as La Défense Arena, can accommodate approximately 40,000 people.
The event will be the third edition of D AWARDS, which launched in Seoul in 2025. Organizers said the Paris event will mark the awards ceremony’s first expansion into Europe.
D AWARDS operates under the motto “Dreams and Delights to the World Through Our Music.” Its awards system consists of three trophy categories: the D AWARDS Black Label, presented as the grand prize; the D AWARDS Delights Blue Label, corresponding to the main award; and the D AWARDS Dreams Silver Label, presented as a rookie award.
The organizers said the three-tier system will recognize achievements across different stages of K-pop artists’ careers.
The participating artists and voting schedule for the Paris edition will be announced at a later date. Channel A has been confirmed as the Korean broadcast partner.
The Paris edition is expected to expand the international reach of the D AWARDS format. The final artist lineup, voting procedures and local event programming will be confirmed through subsequent announcements.
