Onew, the distinguished vocalist of SHINee, is set to return to the solo music scene with his third EP titled "Flow," scheduled for release on September 3. The announcement was made by his agency, Griffin Entertainment, on Tuesday. In addition to the EP release, Onew will host a pop-up store in Seoul from September 5 to 15, offering fans a chance to engage with his latest work in a unique and interactive setting.
Following the EP release, Onew will embark on a series of fan concerts, beginning with performances in Seoul and continuing in Japan in October and November. This marks a significant period of activity for the artist, as he reconnects with his audience both domestically and internationally.
The upcoming album is his first solo project since his acclaimed debut studio album "Circle," which was recognized as the top K-pop album of 2023 by Billboard. The success of "Circle" established Onew's solo career, showcasing his versatility and depth as an artist.
From May to July, Onew engaged in a highly successful fan meet tour, "Guess!," covering eight cities across Asia. This tour was a significant milestone following a health-related hiatus that kept him out of the public eye for approximately ten months until April. Additionally, he recently reunited with SHINee for the band's encore concert in Incheon, further emphasizing his commitment to both his solo and group endeavors.
Approximately a month ago, Onew released a B-side track from the forthcoming EP, generating considerable excitement among fans and building anticipation for the full album release.
