This marks the first time the five-year-old band has achieved this feat, highlighting their growing influence in the Japanese market.
The six-member subunit of NCT released "Give Me That" early last month, topping the iTunes Top Albums chart in 19 regions and dominating several music charts in China, where they are largely based, and the titular track earned them their first trophy from a television music chart show in Korea.
