NCT Dream to Release English Single "Rains in Heaven" Ahead of World Tour

NCT Dream is set to release their new English-language single, "Rains in Heaven," on August 23, according to a recent announcement by SM Entertainment. The upcoming single, characterized by its 80s-inspired pop style, features a blend of drum, bass, and synthesizer elements designed to create a soothing and empathetic listening experience.
Mark, one of the seven members of the group, contributed to the lyrics of the track. The song will be performed live for the first time during the North American and European leg of NCT Dream's world tour, titled “The Dream Show 3: Dream()scape,” which is set to commence on August 31.
The world tour, which began in May with a three-day concert in Seoul, will continue its journey in Manila, Philippines, on August 31. This will be followed by performances in various cities across North America and Europe.
In related news, NCT Dream has been nominated for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in the Best K-Pop category. Their track “Smoothie,” from their fifth EP “Dream()scape,” has garnered significant acclaim. The EP achieved a remarkable milestone, selling 1.32 million copies on its release day and surpassing 2.46 million copies within the first week.
