The K-pop girl group Fifty Fifty has officially announced its new lineup, featuring four additional members who will join the group’s original member, Keena, as part of its second-generation formation. The group revealed the new members in a video released on YouTube on Friday.
The new additions include Yewon, Chanelle, Hana, and an unnamed member. Yewon, a 19-year-old Korean, previously participated in the JTBC idol survival program “R U Next?” which launched the girl group Illit and was organized by Belift Lab, a subsidiary of Hybe. Yewon was also a trainee at Source Music, another Hybe subsidiary.
Chanelle, a 21-year-old Korean American born in Los Angeles, also appeared on “R U Next?” and was a trainee at Belift Lab.
Hana, an 18-year-old from Korea, first gained public attention through Mnet’s children’s song survival program “Wicked” in 2016.
Details about the remaining new member have yet to be disclosed.
The revamped Fifty Fifty, featuring Keena and the new members, is scheduled to make its debut on September 20, marking a new chapter for the group.
