The first large-scale survey exhibition of renowned contemporary artist Haegue Yang in the Netherlands has opened at Kunsthal Rotterdam.
This exhibition will run until August 31 as part of her European tour following the exhibition at London’s Hayward Gallery.
For over 30 years, Yang has transformed everyday objects such as aluminum blinds and drying racks into unique artistic expressions, establishing a distinctive visual language.
Her installation works, which incorporate elements such as light, sound, heat, and scent, explore themes of identity, history, and tradition, offering visitors an immersive sensory experience.
Kunsthal Rotterdam, one of the Netherlands’ leading contemporary art museums, has built an international reputation since its opening in 1992 by curating bold and experimental exhibitions.
