The rookie girl group reached this milestone in just about three months, setting a new record for the fastest debut song by a K-pop female group to reach 300 million streams. On its debut day, “Magnetic” made history by entering Spotify’s Daily Global Top Songs chart, a notable achievement for a new K-pop female band.
In addition to its success on Spotify, the song has also made waves internationally, debuting at No. 91 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and No. 80 on the UK’s Official Singles Top 100. Their album “Super Real Me” further cemented their place in history by debuting at No. 93 on the Billboard 200, making Illit the first K-pop band to simultaneously chart their debut album and song on Billboard’s two main charts.
