Lisa, a prominent member of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, has released her latest solo single, "New Woman," as announced by Sony Music Entertainment Korea. The track, which debuted on Friday, features Spanish pop sensation Rosalía, a Grammy Award winner renowned for her innovative music.

The production of "New Woman" is backed by global pop powerhouses Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh, known for their influential work in the music industry. This release marks Lisa's return to the solo music scene, following her previous single, "Rockstar," which was launched in late June.

"Rockstar" achieved significant success, climbing to No. 8 on Spotify’s global chart and No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, Lisa's performance earned her four nominations at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, which will be held on September 10 in New York City.

In addition to her musical endeavors, Lisa continues to make a significant impact on the global stage. She is set to appear on the cover of Elle magazine's September issue in the U.S. and will co-headline the Global Citizen Festival in New York on September 28.
