CFK (CEO Koo Chang-sik) announced today, September 24, the release of new promotional videos (PVs) for four of its key titles ahead of the Tokyo Game Show 2024 (TGS 2024). The game publisher will present five titles at this year’s TGS, with 'Chrono Sword,' 'Shikondo: Soul Eater,' 'Ninja Isle,' and 'Raffine' among the featured games available for live demonstrations. The company aims to heighten anticipation by showcasing the latest developments through the newly released PVs.
Chrono Sword, one of CFK’s most anticipated titles, is scheduled for early access on Steam later this year, with a full release set for 2025 across multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. The other featured titles, including 'Shikondo: Soul Eater,' 'Ninja Isle,' and 'Raffine,' are also actively under development, with a primary focus on Nintendo Switch releases. The newly unveiled PVs provide a glimpse into these projects, showcasing their progress and offering a sneak peek at the gameplay experience.
During TGS 2024, CFK will reveal the official key art for Chrono Sword and debut its latest playable demo at the Happinet booth, allowing attendees to experience the game’s finely-tuned action RPG mechanics. The new demo promises to enhance player engagement through sophisticated improvements to both action and role-playing elements, highlighting the game’s progression since its initial reveal.
Additionally, CFK will host a publishing agreement ceremony with Newcore Games, the developer of 'Devil Within: Satgat,' to formalize their collaboration on the Nintendo Switch release. Devil Within: Satgat, a side-scrolling action game that was well-received after its Steam release in April, will now be prepared for a global audience on Nintendo Switch. CFK aims to continue building momentum for the title across international markets.
TGS 2024, themed "Lead the World with Games," is one of the most significant global gaming exhibitions, hosted by the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA). The event will run from September 26 to September 29 and feature a wide range of international showcases, networking opportunities, and in-depth presentations, cementing its place as a premier platform for game industry professionals and enthusiasts alike.
