"Armageddon" is aespa's fifth consecutive album to make it into the top 40 on the main albums chart, making them the second K-pop girl group to achieve this feat after Twice. Their previous releases include the EPs "Savage" at No. 20, "Girls" at No. 3, "My World" at No. 9, and "Drama" at No. 33.
The album's lead single, "Supernova," has also garnered impressive success, surpassing 100 million plays on Spotify last week. This marks the tenth song by aespa to achieve this milestone.
Currently, aespa is continuing their tour "Synk: Parallel Line." The group returned from Tokyo on Tuesday after performing live in three arenas in Japan and will resume their tour in Singapore on Saturday.
