NCSoft’s highly anticipated MMORPG, "Throne and Liberty", has achieved an impressive 11th place in global Steam sales, just days before its official release on October 1. This strong performance is largely attributed to the success of its early access pack sales, allowing players to experience the game ahead of its formal launch.
The early access packs, which grant players five days of early gameplay before the official release, are available in three editions: Standard for $39.99, Deluxe for $69.99, and Ultimate for $99.99. All editions offer the same early access benefits, with additional perks such as exclusive costumes, transformations, and Lucent, the in-game currency used for trading items in the marketplace, varying by edition.
This is not the first time "Throne and Liberty" has garnered significant global attention. During its Open Beta Test (OBT) on Steam in July, the game drew widespread interest, reaching a peak of 61,154 concurrent players on the first day alone, the highest for any MMORPG on the platform at the time. The success of the OBT was a strong indicator of the game's appeal, and expectations are high for the official launch, especially with the "Rise" update, which includes revamped skill systems designed to enhance the player experience.
The game is set to launch globally on September 27 for early access and October 1 for full release, targeting markets across North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and Japan. Players will be able to enjoy the game on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. With such robust pre-release interest, all eyes are on whether "Throne and Liberty" can sustain its momentum post-launch.
