Released on June 21, "Supernatural" quickly ascended to the top of Oricon’s daily single ranking and maintained the position for three consecutive days. The single features two tracks, the titular "Supernatural" and "Right Now," both of which have made impressive entries on international charts. They are spending their second week on Billboard’s Global excl. the US and Global 200 charts, and continue to perform well on major music charts in South Korea, despite being primarily targeted at the Japanese market.
In addition to their impressive sales, NewJeans recently made a notable stage debut at Tokyo Dome. The rookie girl group, who debuted less than two years ago, set a record for a non-native artist by performing at the iconic venue. The fan meeting event at Tokyo Dome drew approximately 90,000 fans over two days, highlighting the group's growing popularity and strong fanbase in Japan.
NewJeans' rapid rise to success is evident through their consistent chart-topping releases and record-breaking performances. The group's achievement with "Supernatural" further solidifies their position as a leading force in the global music industry.
