J-Hope of BTS is set to lead the group’s activities in 2025 with his first-ever solo world tour, Hope on the Stage. The artist will connect with ARMYs across North America, Asia, and beyond, spanning 15 cities and 31 performances.
On January 10, J-Hope announced the tour through the fan platform Weverse. The tour will begin with four consecutive performances at the KSPO Dome in Seoul from February 28 to March 2. The global journey continues with stops in major cities, including Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka.
The tour name, Hope on the Stage, encapsulates J-Hope’s identity as a performer who conveys hope and energy through his music. Fans can expect the live debut of tracks from his special album Hope on the Street Vol. 1, which is deeply rooted in his personal and artistic origins.
This marks J-Hope’s first solo world tour, underscoring his evolution as a solo artist. In a Weverse post on January 5, he shared his aspirations for the year: “I hope 2025 will bloom beautifully for everyone. It’s a meaningful year for me as well, and I’m excited to share a lot with you.”
J-Hope’s journey as a solo artist began in July 2022 with the release of his debut solo album, Jack in the Box. In March 2024, he followed it up with Hope on the Street Vol. 1, a project celebrating his roots in street dance. The release included music, a documentary, and pop-up events, with J-Hope personally overseeing the promotional campaign, showcasing his growth as a creative force.
Meanwhile, BTS is gearing up for a historic milestone in 2025. The group’s members are scheduled to complete their military service by June. Jungkook, during a recent fan interaction, declared, “This is the year we’ll be reunited.” Fans are eagerly anticipating the group’s return as a full unit.
