ARARIO GALLERY SEOUL presents Gisela McDaniel's debut solo exhibition in Korea, titled "All These Parts Make Up Me," from July 10 to August 17, 2024.
McDaniel, a diasporic CHamoru artist based in New York City with roots in Guam, creates holistic portraits of marginalized individuals by integrating images, objects, and sound in her artworks.
Her dynamic paintings combine personal artifacts and recorded voices of her collaborators, offering a synesthetic exploration of their narratives.
Visitors can experience McDaniel's innovative approach to art, reflecting diverse identities and cultural narratives.
