This marks Lisa's first live performance at a music festival following her solo debut with the digital single "Rockstar" on June 28.
Katie Hill, Senior Vice President and Head of Music, Entertainment, and Artist Relations at Global Citizen, expressed excitement about Lisa's participation: "We are thrilled to join forces with Lisa for what will be her first-ever solo performance at a music festival. Lisa is not only an incredible performer but also a powerful advocate, leveraging her voice and platform to drive action on some of the most urgent challenges our world is facing."
The Global Citizen Festival, organized annually by the New York-based international civic group Global Citizen, aims to raise awareness about extreme poverty, famine, and climate change. Attendees can earn free tickets by taking action to support these causes.
Lisa joins a star-studded lineup that includes Post Malone, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, and Rauw Alejandro for this year's event.
Last year, Jungkook of BTS made history as the first K-pop solo artist to headline the Global Citizen Festival.
In addition to her musical achievements, Lisa recently topped the Billboard Global Excluding US chart with "Rockstar" on July 13. She is also set to appear in the third season of HBO's popular drama series "The White Lotus."
