▲ ⓒ JYP EntertainmentItzy’s Lia is gearing up to make her comeback to the K-pop scene after a hiatus since September 2023 due to health reasons.

JYP Entertainment confirmed that Lia will be rejoining the group for their upcoming album slated for release later this year.

“Lia has been receiving treatment for her anxiety issues and has shown significant improvement. Following thorough discussions, Lia will resume her group activities for their upcoming comeback album in the second half of this year,” stated JYP Entertainment in an official press release.

Fans were delighted to hear Lia’s return announcement firsthand during a YouTube live session on Monday, coinciding with the group’s 5th debut anniversary celebration.

During the session, Lia expressed her enthusiasm, mentioning that all five members are diligently preparing for the upcoming album, eagerly awaited by their fans.

Itzy is currently engaged in their second world tour titled “Born to Be,” which commenced in Seoul on February 24-25.
