Artist Sun-wang Qwon's solo exhibition, 'Prainting Chorus', will be held at Soohoh Gallery in Seoungnam, Gyeonggi-do from the 8th to the 28th.
Qwon is a contemporary artist who creates across various genres and expressions with a mixture of engraving and painting techniques. He derived the word 'Conceptual Printing' that focuses on the process and attributes of expanding the concept of printmaking.
In addition, he created the word 'Prainting', a compound word of 'Printing' and 'Painting', and at the same time tried to show scenes and creative actions produced by individual objects beyond the genre fusion of prints and paintings.
In the exhibition, the artist tells the story of individual existence and time under the theme of history, time, and life. He explores art flexibly and sensibly, focusing on the moments of individuals that can be easily forgotten in everyday life.
