Korean contemporary artist Lee Bae is holding a solo exhibition called as an official parallel exhibition of the 60th Venice Biennale at the Wilmot Foundation in Venice.
The artist homages 'Burning Moon House', a traditional ritual practice performed by residents of their hometown, Cheongdo, every year during the Lunar New Year's Day.
The exhibition is an audience-participating exhibition that combines the customs of wishing for happiness and a good harvest under the night sky and contemporary art.
The exhibition will be held from April 20 to November 24, 2024, and the video installation 'Burning'(2024) will be screened during the exhibition.
